At what stage in pregnancy can I do my 3D/4D ultrasound?

The best time to have nice photos of the baby is between 28-32 weeks. At this stage the features of the face are fully formed and the baby is not too big to obscure seeing the face. Having said so, we can still do ultrasounds from 20 weeks till full term if the position of the baby and the amount of fluid around it allows it.
You can still do the regular 2D ultrasound before 20 weeks to see the baby and see the heartbeat and reveal the gender.

You and your family will be entertained by the actions of the baby, the elaborate photos and details that they don’t focus on during your traditional hospital ultrasound.

As we mentioned before ultrasound is very safe in pregnancy. It uses ultrasonic waves not X-ray, which has been proven to be safe.
